Allie had a lovely corner apartment overlooking the river, and she was renovating to make the most of it. She is a modern lady, and liked sleek modern things, so she had a kitchen remodel in mind that was distinctly an update from bland blonde oak.  She chose a subtle grey toned stripe for her top cabinets and a warm grey for the lower ones.

Allie's kitchen sported a venting pipe that was less than chic, and the solution was to run her cabinets to the ceiling to cover it, and buy her a little more storage space in her sleek new kitchen.
